Kite Stop is run by John and Michael Lutter. We have been flying kites since a very early age, and have been flying stunt kites since the early 1990s. We originally started KiteStop.com in 2001 as an online community for kiting enthusiasts, but it has quickly morphed into one of the premier blog sites dedicated to the sport and enjoyment of kiteflying.

This is our way of communicating directly with you. We use our e-mailing list as a way to let you know of special promotions, new features/articles, and other fun stuff related to Kite Stop and the kite community.

To all our old visitors, welcome back, and we hope you enjoy the new site. To all the newcomers (and we hope there are a ton of you) welcome to the site. We’ve gone through quite a lot of changes over the years, and this is the latest incarnation.
